Ruf GmbH & Co. KG in Zaisertshofen was established in 1969. Nowadays RUF employs about 100 people and develops and manufactures innovative modular briquette presses for metal, wood chips, and other waste material. The smallest unit manufactured by Ruf is the RAP whose 4 kW motor caters for a throughput rate of 20 to 150 kg per hour (depending on material and chips size). The largest RUF press is the RUF 90.
